Details for Leeds Waterfront Festival Announced

On 17^th & 18^th July the Leeds Waterfront Festival will take place along the waterfront in Leeds from Thwaite Mills, Clarence Dock, Brewery Wharf and this year, extending to Granary Wharf.

Visitors and residents of Leeds can come along for free and enjoy the event which has something for everyone.  Look out for arts and urban markets, live music, walk on water balls, decorated canal boats, Radio Aire, angling sessions and much much more.

The festival is organised and supported by a number of private and public organisations including, Leeds City College, Lend Lease, Granary Wharf, City Inn, Rushbond, Welcome To Yorkshire, Aire Action Leeds, British Waterways, Leeds City Council, Yorkshire Water, Environment Agency and more. It offers a great opportunity to showcase all the waterfront has to offer residents and visitors.

Rachel Clunas, Aire Action Leeds project officer said: “This year’s festival is even bigger than last year and it provides a special opportunity to come and enjoy the Leeds waterfront  with a range of free events and something for everyone”.

In the city centre at Clarence Dock, Brewery & Granary Wharf there will be lots to see and do, including live music, Radio Aire, cookery workshops and demos, Urban Angels aerial display, interactive art exhibitions, urban markets, walk on water balls, Civic Trust guided walks, food and drink offers, and lots more!
